yBook - AEP Distinguished Achievement Awards Finalist

For more than four decades the Association of Educational Publishers (AEP) Awards have honored outstanding resources for teaching and learning. One of the largest and longest-running awards programs for educational products, the AEP Awards aim to:

    * identify products that exemplify the highest standards of professional, quality educational content,
    * give credit and recognition to the organizations who are leading the way in this field, and
    * set benchmarks to which the rest of the industry can aspire.

The 2010 AEP Awards finalists have been announced. yBook received the nomination in the Technology & New Media category, for the new development aiding the educational field.

The Distinguished Achievement Awards (DAAs) recognize the year's top educational products in four categories: Curriculum, Periodicals, Professional Development, and Technology & New Media. DAA entries are judged only against other products in their entry category, subcategory, and grade level. (e.g., middle school Arts curricula are only judged against other middle school Arts curricula).

All products submitted undergo a two-tier judging process by highly qualified individuals who are experts in their respective areas. Products that are selected by the initial screening judge will go to final judging where a panel of certifying judges will review and certify finalists and winners. All categories are judged on the “technical merits” that the committee feels identify a high quality product.

yBook was considered for creativity, originality of product, educational value, content vs. medium, and ease of use.

The AEP Awards seal is recognized by teachers and parents as a mark of excellence in education. Finalist status in the Awards tells our customers that yBook has met the rigorous standards for quality and professional content for education.
